Commemorating Queen Victoria’s Birthday with Birthday Cake!
What’s an epic birthday celebration without an epic birthday cake? The Mendelssohn Choir is pleased to be partnering with Bethel Bakery and Cioppino Restaurant & Cigar Bar to present audiences with two custom-designed birthday cakes for Victoria’s Secret: A Life in Music on May 18 & 19. Each cake will be completely unique to each performance venue, and will incorporate elements of cakes that were served during Queen Victoria’s time, and even elements from her own wedding cake! The May 18th performance at East Liberty Presbyterian Church will feature Cioppino, while the May 19th performance will feature Bethel Bakery.
Come for the music, stay for the cake!
