The Junior Mendelssohn Choir presents its annual concert on Sunday, November 8 at 4:00pm at Third Presbyterian Church. The Junior Mendelssohn will perform Giovanni Pergolesi's Magnificat, conducted by Music Director Stephen Neely. Coronation Mass, Unfinished Symphony and Emperor Concerto
The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, led by PSO Music Director Manfred Honeck present Mozart's Mass in C major, or "Coronation Mass." Mozart was commissioned to write this Mass while he was in the Archbishop's service in Salzburg. He composed the Mass for Easter Sunday, 1779.
