Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton

The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra bring the music of Danny Elfman and the films of Tim Burton to life in the Pittsburgh premiere of Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton, November 23, 2013.  Celebrating Burton and Elfman’s 30-year collaboration, this new orchestra event features music from iconic films including Beetlejuice, Batman, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, enhanced by Tim Burton’s original sketches, drawings and story boards.
