New York, New York! Cabaret Evening

Shake off those little town blues!

Join members of the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and Emcee Anna Singer of Classical WQED-FM 89.3 for an intimate cabaret fundraiser featuring an evening of music inspired by the City That Never Sleeps. Held in the private, second-floor lounge at Olive or Twist, this will be the perfect celebration of the Choir’s forthcoming trip to NYC to perform at Carnegie Hall with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

Includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, special dessert, cash bar, and Silent Auction. Tickets are limited so act quickly to reserve your place at this special event.

Tickets are general admission and there will be various lounge-type seating available including bar stools, high tops, some soft seating, and standard seating. The second floor lounge has its own entrance on 6th Street or use the main entrance to Olive or Twist and take the elevator to the second floor.

Consider becoming a Cabaret Sponsor. All sponsors will receive eight Cabaret tickets, premier “salon-type” seating, an invitation to a special Sponsor Cocktail reception at 7pm before the event, and advertising opportunities.  Download the sponsor form, or E-mail Communications Manager Emily Stewart at estewart@themendelssohn.org for more information.

Sneak Peek at Silent Auction Items Available!

The wonderful array of auction items as well as information on how to place that winning bid are all available via the Cabaret Auction Sheet.  From sparkling jewelry to one-of-a-kind antique bookends to various themed baskets for the caffeine addicts, theater-goers, sports-lovers and exhibitions-ists among us, you will be sure to find items on your wish list.  To add to that good news, the highest bidder need not be present at the Cabaret to win.
