Junior Mendelssohn Choir: Vivaldi’s Gloria

The Junior Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh presents Vivaldi’s Gloria at Third Presbyterian Church, conducted by Maria Sensi Sellner.  Vivaldi most likely composed this piece for the choir at Venice’s famed Ospedale della Pietà, where he spent most of his career.  The Gloria, Vivaldi’s most famous choral work, presents the Gloria from the Latin Mass in twelve varied cantatas.
