Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem
East Liberty Presbyterian Church - Sunday, May 15 at 3pm
The work that made Brahms' reputation as a composer, Ein deutsches Requiem, is not a setting of traditional liturgical text in German, but a universal message of comfort using specific texts Brahms himself chose from the Bible. Hear this highly personal expression along with early musical works from Brahms' personal library.
